01 — The tiles
About our porcelain
It means the colour and structure run right through the full 20mm thickness, and the back of the slab is flat. Some “20mm” tiles are really thinner tiles with a ribbed or raised back added to bulk them up. Full-body gives you tougher edges, cleaner cuts on steps and copings, and a slab that doesn’t reveal a different colour underneath when it’s cut or chipped.
Both are 20mm, frost-proof outdoor porcelain. Signature is our premium tier — large-format designer finishes in marble, slate, travertine, and also Flat back, from £36/m². Essential is our value tier — the most popular greys, whites and stone looks, from £21.49/m². You’re never trading durability for price; the difference is finish, format and cost.
Most of our tiles are rated R11 or R12 for slip resistance, which is well suited to outdoor use in wet British weather. The exact rating is listed on every product page — we always quote the real figure rather than a blanket claim.
Our 20mm porcelain is ideal for patios, paths, pool surrounds, steps and pedestrian areas. For driveways and vehicle loads, the tiles must be fully bedded on a solid concrete base by an experienced installer — message us and we’ll talk you through what your project needs.
No. Porcelain is fired at very high temperatures with extremely low water absorption (≤0.1%), so it resists fading, staining, moss and frost far better than natural stone. A rinse and the occasional wash keeps it looking new.
Right now every tile is stocked in 900×600mm at 20mm thick — a large-format size that suits modern patios and lays quickly.
02 — Ordering & pricing
Buying & prices
Yes. Every price shown includes VAT and delivery, so there are no surprises at checkout. Delivery is free on orders over £400; for orders under £400 we’ll give you a quick delivery quote on WhatsApp.
You can buy however suits the job — loose by the square metre, a half pallet, or a full pallet. The bigger the quantity, the lower the per-m² rate, and our area calculator works out exactly what you need.
An Essential pallet is 40 slabs (covering around 22m²); a Signature pallet is 50 slabs (27m²). Half pallets are available too. The coverage and price are shown on every product page.
Use the area calculator — pop in your patio’s square metres, tick the box to add 10% for cuts and waste, and it tells you the slabs and pallets you need plus the total price. When in doubt, send us the measurements on WhatsApp.
You can pay securely online by card and other methods at checkout. For trade or bulk orders we’ll confirm payment options when we quote you.
03 — Delivery & collection
Getting your tiles
Across the North West of England and into North Wales — Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and the Wrexham/Flintshire area. If your town isn’t listed on our delivery page, message us; we very likely cover you.
Free on orders over £400 (and it’s already included in the price). For orders under £400, send your postcode on WhatsApp and we’ll quote delivery for your order.
On a pallet by a kerbside courier. Please make sure there’s safe access for a pallet truck to your address. Larger or trade loads can be arranged to suit the site.
Yes — you’re welcome to collect from our warehouse in Moreton, Wirral. Just arrange a time with us first so your order is picked and ready.
Give your pallet a quick check on arrival. If anything’s damaged, note it on the delivery slip and let us know the same day with a photo, and we’ll sort a replacement.
04 — Samples
Seeing before you buy
Yes — message us on WhatsApp with the tiles you’re interested in and we’ll arrange samples so you can see the real colour and texture in your own garden light before you commit.
Screens and printing never show stone effects perfectly, and many of our tiles have natural shade variation (it’s what makes them look authentic). Always judge the final colour from a physical sample rather than a photo.
05 — Trade
For contractors & retailers
Yes. Contractors, builders, landscapers and retailers get sharper rates. Send your tiles and quantities on WhatsApp and we’ll quote you the same day — no lengthy account forms to wait on.
Absolutely — that’s our wheelhouse as an importer. Whether it’s several pallets for one job or a tile you want supplied again and again, we’ll keep it coming at your agreed rate.
Because we’re the importer, not a reseller. We bring containers in ourselves and hold stock in Wirral, so there’s no distributor margin in the price — that saving goes to you.
06 — Laying & care
Installation & maintenance
Outdoors they’re laid on a full mortar bed (around 1 part cement to 4 parts sharp sand) over a solid sub-base, using a porcelain-specific primer or slurry on the back of each slab for a strong bond. Allow a slight fall (about 1.5%) for drainage. We’re happy to point you in the right direction if you’re briefing an installer.
Yes — porcelain is hard, so use a diamond blade suited to porcelain on a wet cutter for clean edges. Because our tiles are full-body, cut edges stay the same colour as the face.
Very little upkeep — sweep off debris and wash with warm water and a mild detergent. No sealing is needed thanks to the low water absorption. For stubborn marks, a porcelain-safe cleaner does the job.
Their low water absorption means moss and algae struggle to take hold, and the R11–R12 textured surfaces give good grip when wet. A periodic wash keeps grip and looks at their best.
